I just built my first PC ever and I was extremely nervous about mounting the heat sink to the CPU with the thermal paste. I put a small blob on the center and screwed the heat sink in around it. At one point I had to re-adjust the heat sink because it was pointing the wrong way.
Anyway, after the installation, I took a look at the temperatures and the system seems to idle around 30 degrees C.
I put it through a stress test on Prime 95 for the Small FFS mode and it maxed out at 67 degrees C after an hour of time. Do these temperatures seem too hot? Should I try re-mounting my CPU & heat sink?
