Unless you intentionally set the voltage to absurd levels, you will hit your thermal limit before you push too many volts to kill the chip. Intel has never stated a "max voltage" limit for any of their chips iirc, but there are plenty of people pushing 4.8-5ghz 24/7 on the Ivy and have reported no issues with several years at those settings. Though I would stay under 1.45-1.5v to be on the "safe" side and to ensure a solid 3-4 years from the chip, though I doubt anything short of LN2 will keep the chip under the thermal threshhold at those voltages.
I personally ran my 3770k at 4.7ghz 1.355v for about 3 years with a Xigmatek Dark Knight II cooler (Push/Pull) In a Cooler Master HAF 932 advanced case with upgraded 230mm fans thoughout and I idle at about 28-32c and in games its anywhere between mid 50's to mid 60's Celsius(85-90c fs stressing with Prime95), depending on the game. My room stays at about 72-73F ambient temps year round if that helps.
