I recently built a new computer and it was working fine yesterday. I turned it off and the next time I turned it on it wouldn't respond to the monitor. It wouldn't boot, and now when I need to turn it off holding the power button doesn't work. I've tried taking out the CMOS battery. I've tried cleaning the RAM. I've double checked all motherboard connections. When I removed the RAM it wouldn't beep indicating there was a problem. I've tried switching settings on my monitor and used multiple cables. I've already talked to several people and done lots of googling to try and find a solution. Nothing has worked. In the words on Princess Leia, you're my only hope.

Hardware:
Monitor: ASUS VS Series VS228H-P
CPU/GPU: AMD A6-5400K Trinity Dual-Core
MB: ASUS A68HM-K FM2+ AMD A68H FCH
RAM: HyperX Savage 8GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM
PSU: LOGISYS Computer PS480D2 480W
HD: WD Blue 1TB

Hello Supanerd,

Sr-71 Blackbird made a point. It seems that your PC has no enough power to support your MB or system unit as a whole. If you are in doubt, try to borrow a working PSU from a friend. See to it that it can support your PC's wattage requirement.
