Hello everyone this is my first post and i hope i can become a good user :)

anyway regarding my problem:
ill start with listing my PC specs , all of them
Motherboard : MSI Z97 gaming 5
CPU : Intel core i7 4970k
GPU : GTX980
SSD : Kingston 120GB
HDD: WD 3TB
RAM: 16GB Kingston fury
and finally to the wifi part which is :
ASUS Dual-Band Wireless-AC1900 PCI-E Adapter (PCE-AC68)

My problem started like few weeks ago, the problem is that sometimes all my browser ( i have windows 10 ) stop working , you know the dinosaur game appears when you have no connection on google chrome ? but still im inside a game like Overwatch or World of Warcraft and the game still works, but my browsers all at once stop working, even if i had a page open , if i try to click a link or refresh the page, the connection is lost, i even tried using CMD and ping google or yahoo , it says that i have no connection but my game is still running ?! i have to restart my PC to fix this problem which is really pain in the *** , happens everyday , if i leave the PC open for few hours it will happen no matter what, the things i tried already are:

i reinstalled the adapter software,
i changed the adapter's location inside my motherboard.

so is it hardware issue or software issue ?

Solution
just get a long enuf cable from sumwhr to test...ethernet cables come in all sizes...u dont need to carry the tower...but atleast u ll get an idea...
when it used to happen to me, i just used to go to device manager and uninstall the adapter and reinstall it...that used to restore the connection...this went on for about couple of months and then fixed itself on its own...never happened again...
no idea why, but my best guess is, the firmware might be clashing with sumthing or maybe the initialization fails intermittently...if this is a fairly new card, u can consider rma...

i can't test on ethernet, the internet router is in the middle of the house and i can't take my PC in and test that there, beside my PC is really heavy, i have full tower case (900D) Loaded with water cooling, so its really hard to do that, beside the router is mounted on the wall.
