hello. id love to sit here for alot of days and hours downloading the "old classic tv" shows for a friend of mine. the problem is i dont want to give him a computer. this thing needs to be accessable through the new LCD TV he has. he has a 12 year old lcd tv. the question is how do i make it possible for the tv to be able to access some sort of computer storage device that has all these shows on it? is there a way to make this full hookup? also is there a way to go to the remote of the tv and hit "imput > use arrow keys to move to the whatever option thats where the harddrive is connected" then violla!!! possible? or not? if so, how?
my tv has a rca input, 2 hdmi inputs. a coaxial connection. and a rgb-pc connection.
how can i give this guy a computer storage, hook it up, (with remote) , switch the settings over to it from hdmi in, , have it up on the tv already , he can look at a fulllll list of shows and who their by and etc and have him click that/those, click the tv show/movie he wants????
