Laptop mouse question

So I tend to game a lot on my laptop, however the mouse tends to get slippery with sweat from hand after a while. Does this damage the mouse in any way? It's a cheap 20 usd mouse.

older mice with track balls wet plus dirt would get you bad tracking mice. most newer mice now use laser eyes. as long as the laser is clean and you dront drop the mouse. most mice the clicker buttons will fail first.
