Okay, so I've bought a Msi 980ti gaming 6g. Apparently a lot of dust is settled on the top of my Gpu (on the backplate). This freaks me out.

I want to keep my Gpu alive for next 5~6 years. I don't overclock.

Should I use a brush to dust off all the dusts? Will it fry my Gpu or other components? How do I prevent dusts to accumulate on my Pc and Gpu? I need your advice. Thanks in advance and greetings.

Solution
Never use a brush or any other contact device because of the risk of electro-static discharge (ESD) which can destroy PC components!

Use only purpose-made compressed air in an aerosol can to blast away the crud & dust using a straw attached to the can, this does not involve any physical contact and does a much more thorough job than a brush in any case.

This is the one I always use, good value if bought as a pack of 4:

Use everywhere inside the PC case, not just on the graphics card.
I give mine a blast usually two or three times a year, but frequency required will...

I play 3~5 hours daily. Should I spray on the fans aswell? They are facing at bottom, will dust accumulate there too? Should I hold the fans with my finger while spraying?

By the way, if the spray on the backplate which is where most of the dust accumulated, will these atually clean it or I have to disassemble my gpu and then spray it?

Thanks for the help @Phillip Corcoran

Edit: so these compressed air cans can spray liquid sometimes even if I hold it vertically. It worries me as I can't risk damaging my Pc components. Aint there any non liquid compressed airs? How about if I uae the pump machine of my football?

Just use a compressed air can and spray it in the gpu spots like the fans and stuff. Just make sure that you're a good distance from it and not super close because sometimes liquid can come out even with the straw thing on or held vertically
