Hey guys
so the mobo in my old games pc (used for half life etc) and so i pulled it's P4 motherboard out and installed an AMD board with a 3300 sempron and it boots and i can navigate the bios fine but when it tries to start windows it restarts (because the os is locked to the old motherboard) and i don't know how to change the key i'm using because i have an XP licence for this board and i don't know if i can install an os over the old one preferably without losing my stuff.
if you can help could you tell me
cheers Guys

Solution
Go to Ebay, find a legit windows xp disk for the version you have and buy it. might come with a new key but I would use your old key.

Sorry, I don't know of any source to get a valid Win XP install.
