I have just bought a new rig which is as follows:

1. Mother Board: Asus Z170 Pro Gaming.
2. Processor:: Intel i-5 (6600K) SkyLake.
3. GPU: Asus GTX 750 Ti - OC (2GB) (OLD GFX used it on the new rig)
4. Memory : DDR4 Vengeance LPX 2400Mhz C16 - 8 GB*2
5. Air Cooling : Cooler Master Hyper 212 X (2 fans).
6. Case Fan: 2* -120 MM CM Fans for the cabinet.

I had been running this on an 4 years old CM RM series 500 W psu but did not overclock, however it died on me yesterday because of which I had to buy a new PSU.I got a CX 600 W psu (thinking corsair is best for PSU from early days, also did not read about the bad CX review). My question is will this PSU be enough to run my rig if I am OC'ing my CPU & GPU ? I am aiming on getting a GTX 1060 when it launches will this CX600 W be enough for that?

Solution
The CX series is of poor quality and the fact that it's rated at 750W is irrelevant. High wattage doesn't translate to good quality. The CX series is fine for a basic desktop but not a gaming one, and it's definitely not suitable for overclocking.

Consult the PSU tier list for recommended models; www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html.
