I have the GIGABYTE X99 SLI motherboard
The motherboard instructs me to put my 4 sticks of ram in the grey slots, so from left to right, slots: 1, 3, 6 and 8. But my radiator fitting is in the way, can I use the black slots (2, 4, 5 and 7) instead without problem, or any performance decrease?
If yes you can use the other slots, will it also work for other X99 motherboards?
