I was unscrewing the screws on my cpu cooler so that i can clean the fan blades & when I was putting my cooler back in I seen one of the motherboard standoffs for it was screwed on to the coolers screws & it isn't coming off. I plan on going to get a replacement in 3 or 4 days but in the meantime will I be able to game on my pc even tho only 3 of the 4 screws are in & not have to worry about my pc overheating?

Obviously the safest answer is no, wait until the replacement parts get in and do it right the first time. That's the ultra safe answer. If you want to try it, I would keep a close eye on temps because you want to make sure that your cpu is not getting extremely hot

If it gets too hot it will automatically throttle down the CPU or completely shut down the system.
But 80c is about the max core temp. 70c is much safer. 72 max IHS temp.

I would say if it starts to approach 75 degrees C, shut it down. Most advise to keep it under 60 degrees C. Giving you a little flexibility but it should not stay at either of those temps for extended periods of time
