Hi,
For quite some time I've been having very annoying problems with the Bluetooth drivers on my win7 64bit (lenovo T500).
Bluetooth devices weren't being recognized correctly and I just couldn't get windows to recognize the device driver correctly.
Finally about a couple of month ago I solved the problem by installing a patched bluetooth driver from here:
http://bluetoothinstaller.com/
.
Now this definitely solved my unrecognized devices problem, where now the device is recognized correctly as Hands free audio (which I do need for my UE 360 speakers). But now without any apperant reason it re-installs itself after very boot.
I've read a little in various forums that this kind of problem is quite common, and usually re-installinf / disabling the device solves it.
though in my case I've already performed complete removal of the bluetooth driver several times (please see thread http://www.tomsguide.com/forum/topicfromemail/id/3052065?userId=2105387&answerId=17938957&hash=a670486e37e2a982c418f7eff8dc6586f76f504f&xitiTracker=EPR-8809), before finally finding the aformentioned suitable driver, which I do need and therefor cannot just disable the device.
How do I make the installation 'stick' so it will stop re-inslatiing itself after every boot?
Thanks in advance.
