To make a long story short for various reasons I replaced the motherboard in my I5-4460 build. Opinions were all over the place on whether I'd have trouble activating my Win7 Pro OEM on the new MB.
This was a clean replacement. Other than the MB the only thing changed was RAM. I used telephone activation. After reading in the numbers, I was simply asked how many computers this copy of 7 had been installed on. I answerend "one" and the activation went on without a hitch.
