An acquaintance of mine is selling his prebuilt pc for $400 and I was wondering if the community could give me their perspective on this pc. Originally, I was saving up around $600 for my own build (http://pcpartpicker.com/list/FMVr99), but is this a better option for a primarily gaming pc (overwatch, blade and soul, bf4, etc.)?

The additional accessories are nice :p

Honestly, the CPU in this ibuypower rig is much better than the other two options, but the GPU leaves a lot to be desired unfortunately. You're original build you were looking at, changing the GPU to a RX 480, that'll save you some money there, and allow you to have a better GPU than any of these builds. That will also allow you to upgrade to a 7xxx or (maybe) 8xxx core series processor later on down the line to get more CPU power in your rig. If you end up going with a 480, I would also go for a custom card that has at least an 8-pin power connector, should make sure things run smoothly and as well as possible!
