Okay so I just had my Gtx 1070 installed and I am getting no fps difference from before when I used to have an AMD radeon r9 270x 2gb. I would like to know what the issue is please?
My specs:
CPU: Intel i7-4820k
GPU: Gtx 1070
Motherboard: Gigabyte x-79
RAM: 16gb ddr3
PSU: 800 Watt

If there are any other specs that you would like me to list off then please comment below.

Any suggestions will help!
Thanks

Solution
1) Monitor is attached to the graphics card?
(not the motherboard)

2) DDU-> http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html

a) it will remove your drivers
b) then install the latest NVidia
c) during NVidia choose the "custom-> clean" path to install the drivers

3) If that doesn't work, run UNIGINE VALLEY so we can compare to known benchmarks. In fact, run it BEFORE you start anything to see if it changes.

Must use the EXACT same settings to compare.
