Hi so I built my PC from Cyberpower around 4 years ago, coming up in september. I've used it for gaming mostly and am pretty noobish when it comes to troubleshooting problems.
Recently I have had a string of issues and have looked up possible causes and haven't really found anything conclusive.
Issue 1: Sometimes when I boot my PC, the fans turn on and lights are all going, but it just sits on a black screen. It's like the system just decides not to boot. When I hit the power button to turn it off, it turns of instantly, without having to hold it down for several seconds like you would normally have to when its running normally. I thought this was an issue with the GPU not starting from what I read online, but I am not for sure on that.
Second issue: While running games or just watching videos, the audio will suddenly begin to stutter, then the video will stutter as well. At this point I know I am screwed and a BSOD is imminent. If I let it keep running it will BSOD eventually or just go to a black screen with audio still running normally in the background and I have to restart it.
On a side not this stuff all happens randomly, like sometimes my pc is normal for an entire day and then some days it won't start and is having tons of problems. I don't think temperatures are the cause because I have tracking software and they dont normally run above 50 celcius. Someone please point me in the right direction, thanks for everyones time.
I know my PC is old, so it may be all the parts failing at the same time. But I would like to fix it or the root cause without replacing all the parts if possible, obviously gaming pcs are expensive and I spent about $1000 on the entire thing when I first purchased it.
