So I installed an 8GB RAM stick into my Asus F555LD laptop and it isn't showing up. But I used CPU-Z and it shows up on there.
VxcQef7

Also I updated my BIOS and it still doesn't seem to work. From what I have been looking at it does seem that the stick is compatible and should work. Can some please help me find out why it isn't working? Thank you :)
EDIT: On the CPU-Z it doesn't add up the RAM it just leaves it at 8 but still recognizes it.

Solution
You could try completely shutting down your laptop, remove the battery, hold the power button down for 30 seconds, and then put the battery back into the laptop, it does a basic reset, similar to removing a CMOS battery. It could be because the laptop was still 'technically' on when installing the RAM. Wish you luck!

Try checking system information and see if the Physical RAM is more than eight

Under certain circumstances, Windows could also put a limit on how much memory could be used, here is how to disable it;

1. Go to msconfig.exe

2. Go to 'Boot' section.

3. Click/tap 'Advanced options...'

4. Untick the Maximum memory checkbox.

Hope this works!

Hello. I followed all your steps but the Maximum memory checkbox was already unchecked. Thanks for trying to help though! :)

Hello again. On this laptop model it seems I can't remove the battery unless I unscrew my laptop. Thank you again for trying to help :)

Found solution. My laptop requires 1.35v of RAM and I tried to put at 1.5v RAM stick into there. I misunderstood it because I found 1.5v on the case where the RAM slot is.
