Hello. I recently upgraded to a Nvidia GTX 980 and now have my old GTX 670 lying around. I was wondering whether there is any way I could utilise the old one at all? I have a friend who says I could use it as a physics card but don't know whether it would be worth the trouble.

Thanks.

The GTX 670 can be used as a physics card, and in my opinion there is not enough games that support that to make it worth the trouble. You can try reading about the games you intend to play on the system and determine if you will benefit from a physics card, then you will know for sure whether its worth it or not to use the GTX 670.

More then likely you would simply be wasting electricity for very little, if any gain.
