Sorry for the mess but I can explain to the best of my abilities (wall of text incoming).
My compontents:
CPU: Intel i5-6600K (previously OCed to 4.1GHZ with OC Genie 4 but now I think it's back at 3.5GHZ, not sure)
CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D15, one fan attached to it
Motherboard: MSI Z170-A PRO
RAM: Crucial DDR4 2133 MhZ 8GB RAM
GPU: GTX 1080 Founder's Edition
SSD: Sandisk Ultra II 480GB SSD
PSU: EVGA G2 650W 80+ Gold rating

Main Issue: I can only get my system to POST whenever I plug in a new keyboard from my original K70 RGB, and when I do POST it goes to Windows, where it stays for a minute before having a BSOD to the tune of 'APC_INDEX_MISMATCH'. Does not POST after unless I re-do this keyboard trick, and this was because of a failed OC as my system told me in story below.

Guess I should give out the full story. A few days ago I used OC Genie 4 with my motherboard in order to overclock my CPU from its base of 3.5 to 4.1 Ghz. It worked for a while, and for that time it looked relatively stable, however today I was playing Just Cause 3 for a while. I'm guessing that game's extremely CPU demanding or at least RAM demanding (since it is), because after I stopped playing it I decided to turn on Microsoft Edge to browse the internet. It wasn't responsive and I saw in the task manager that it was making multiple 'copies' of the task but wasn't loading up. I then shut down my PC via Windows and restarted it, and when that happened it didn't seem to POST. Instead, my Corsair K70 RGB keyboard, extremely strange as it is, began to load up and play its various lighting saves that I had previously put on it (some custom lighting stuff from before). What's even more strange is I didn't get those from this PC I built, but rather from another PC, AND this PC I was using where this issue happened also didn't have Corsair Link or any actually support for the K70 keyboard.

Anyway, it wouldn't POST to the BIOS or anything, so I gave it a few retries, switched off power and waited and so on. Eventually, I turned it off and actually changed keyboard with another keyboard. This resulted in a POST, strangely enough.. I was greeted with a message that went something along the lines of 'the overclock has failed' from my motherboard, very scary looking.. there was no seen logo of my actual motherboard as if it actually booted up, but I just got this message. It told me it had reset the OC to default settings, and that it now gave two choices. I could press F1 to go to setup (which I later found out to be the BIOS) or F2 to continue with these default settings. Bear in mind, ever since this scare I did not want to OC obviously. I pressed F1, taking me to the BIOS. The button that stays on for OC Genie was 'ON' so I pressed it to turn it 'OFF', before closing BIOS and allowing it to restart. When this happened, I once again, strangely, did not POST. I gave a few retries, and somehow I managed to get it to POST. I didn't go to BIOS, and instead it went straight to Windows the way it normally does. The first thing I did was go to my HWinfo program which monitored my CPU and other component's temps and clocks and such. It showed me that the clock for the CPU was around 3.6 GhZ (read as about 3,996-4000 MhZ at the time). I found this strange, but before anything, in amount a minute from booting from Windows, I get a BSOD with the error APC_INDEX_MISMATCH. It tells me it restarts, and then what happens is it supposedly restarts but once again I CANNOT get it to POST or use the logo.

I turn it off, wait some time and retry, does not work. I then do this strange keyboard trick where I swap the K70 to this Teknet keyboard I have, where surprisingly it works. It boots up to Windows again (I tried to go to BIOS but don't think I was quick enough) and Windows starts as normal.
A minute after, as is expected, it BSOD's again and I believe it is the same error (I'm guessing it would be if it redid the same thing at the same time), APC_INDEX_MISMATCH. It does the same thing, does not POST after restartng. Right now, the PC is off and I'm terrified. I want this OC to go, to disappear so I can get to use my computer again. I feel like if I pressed F2 when I had that option - that option wasn't specifically in the BIOS, it was like a warning message that was the first thing that came up - that I would probably have fixed this, but my tampering by now turning OC Genie OFF and now that having effects could have messed something up. I'm sorry that my case is probably very rare but I'm kinda clueless what to do. At the most, could I use this 'keyboard trick' to get back into the BIOS, re-OC and see if it takes me somewhere? I have no idea. List anything you've done in attempt to diagnose or fix the problem.

I went to the BIOS as stated above and turned the OC Genie tool (that comes with the motherboard) OFF in the BIOS and restarted it, however this could have potentially made the problem worse. Apart from that, I've tried to turn the computer on and off and have switched off its power, and have used this 'keyboard trick' as described above to try to get it to POST. Somehow, I'm not sure but by switching my keyboard sometimes I can get it to POST to BIOS and beyond to Windows, however right now as described Windows is problematic.

UPDATE: I managed to get to that part where the message of the OC failed giving me the options between setup and starting with default values. I pressed F2, and it takes me to the BIOS where everything is disabled. Now, strangely enough, as soon as it restarts I now have the issue of it nt POSTing. Going to redo this tiresome keyboard trick.

Sorry for the huge essay but I'm pretty puzzled. I don't think I'll ever OC again but I hope that I can survive or find some way out. At the most, my Windows is corrupt and I might need to re-download it, which I am okay with, however I'm scared that my BIOS or something has been damaged or affected. I understand that BSODs with overclockings are probably a normal thing, but these two BSODs have happened at the same time twice (every time I've made it into Windows) and like I said I'm having some real trouble trying to get my PC into POST in the first place.

UPDATE 2: Getting somewhere! Now into System Repair and Startup. Should I reset/reinstall my Windows?

E: During System Repair where I reset Windows using my personal settings, I get another BSOD at 8% of resetting. The BSOD was KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED.

A little update, it seems to boot now to Windows with varying degrees of success. Sometimes I have to change the keyboard, sometimes not. Anyway it does its 'normal reboot' to Windows where everything seems to be working for about a minute, until it ALWAYS BSOD's regardless of what I am doing. One time I went to the recovery thing on Windows to try to actually reboot my system, but even then it had a BSOD. Regardless of what I try to do with Windows, it keeps going to Blue Screen of Death. Is there ANYTHING I can do or any way to physically install a new Windows? From like a new boot or something? Since I am unable to do anything. I don't have any crashes/issues when using the BIOS, that seems stable but any time Windows startup repair or something of the sort happens, or it boots normally into Windows I will ALWAYS BSOD.
