This is Guru3D's generic power supply recommendation for the R7 and R9 series:

AMD R9 380 - On your average system the card requires you to have a 500 Watt power supply unit.
AMD R9 380 Crossfire - On your average system the cards require you to have a 700 Watt power supply unit as minimum.

If you are going to overclock GPU or processor, then we do recommend you purchase something with some more stamina.

That being said, a b500 is not a quality PSU

You shouldn't run it. According to Hardware.info's testing, the 12V voltage dropped out of the ATX spec at 300W of load: https://us.hardware.info/reviews/4642/8/three-500-watt-psus-tested-antec-vp550f-cooler-master-b500-and-nexus-nx-5000-v1-capacity-and-voltages

What confuses me, though, is that their graph says differently, but that is what the reviewer said. It also looks like the 12V voltage starts out super high at 12.6V. I would look into a higher quality power supply.
The Cooler Master B500 ended up at 11.09 V, far below the 11.4 V limit. In the 400W it already fell short at 11.36V. That means that 300W is the highest capacity that remains within the margins for the B500, and that's not good enough.
