Gigabyte Gtx 970 G1 Gaming fans

Okay so yesterday i recieved a 970 and put it in my system. To my knowledge, other gpu's keep their fans from spinning until they reach a certain temp. Does this gpu not do that? Because i visually saw the fans spinning at all times. Checked tempswhile idle, with MSI Afterburner, and they were 19-20.

try setting a custom fan curve for the GPU, and see if it fixes the fan spinning. The fan spinning depends on the drivers, and what kind of fan curve it has built in. The custom fan curve should fix this problem and it is far more recommended than an automatic curve.

The 970 G1 gaming fans always spin unlike some of the other designs. Even if you create a custom curve with afterburner the lowest fan speed you can set is 20%.
