well as thread says, should i do it. I'm looking for lower cpu temperatures on a budget. Can't afford expensive coolers since my comp is outdated a bit and i will replace it soon.
Also, can you please tell me, a noob, what should i look for as far as performance of a cooler goes.

Buying an good air cpu cooler is always a good way to rise your pc performance .
buying a liquid air cooler is absolute overkill but about an good priced air cooler , its not a bad idea .
If you can afford a cool master hyper series cooler , just do it and when you decide to buy a new pc , you can just replace the older cooler and use the new cooler on your new pc.
