I've been playing strategy games recently games like Gnomoria and dead State reanimated that don't require direct x and are not graphics intensive for a while but today I tried to play Grand Theft Auto 5 and it said. "no direct x installed or no direct x video card installed" but I've been able to play it before(I finished the campaign) and now all of the games that require direct X don't work.only games like gnomoria and dead state and less graphics intense games that don't need direct X work. I downloaded the newest direct x from the Internet and installed it on my computer (11.2)and when it finished installing I also installed 'VC redist' ,restarted my computer and tried again and still none of them work so I think my video card may be broken OR my power supply has also recently given issues, the fan start rattling so I have to smack the computer to get it to quiet down and it happens happens quite often and I must hit my computer to make it quiet. do you think that my power supply might be broken and is giving to Low power to the video card which is causing errors??
