I was just wondering can i upgrade this laptop to dual channel memory?that will help my fps in games thanks in advance :)

the laptop is the Asus X555DA-WS11

it comes with 8gb of ram and i am adding a 4gb ram stick

1| Download CPU-Z and notice what frequency your onboard ram is running at. Post back here with your findings.
2| Product spec's page is bare as a desert so based off of the A10-8700P you're running I'd suggest you go for a 4GB stick of 1866Mhz ram. Further reading and more here.
