So, I just bought a new pc, built it, and the problem happens whenever I try to start up the computer. When I start up the computer, all the fans and leds come on, but with or without ram in, no beep or post or interaction at all. I have checked all the cables (I hope I did them right, this is my first PC). Since this is my first PC and there's already a problem it's very frustrating, and any help would be appreciated. I'll leave a link to my build below.

Don`t worry too much, like with all things the first time you assemble, you are bound to come across a few problems when you build your first system.

People only gain such knowledge of how to fix the problems, through learning and experience after building many systems over a few years of Trial and error on what can go wrong.

The key thing is not to give up, keep a cool head, and not to panic.

But do everything in a set order of testing.

Let`s give you a bit of a help.

For power from the power supply.

1. Connect the main 24 pin Atx power block to your motherboard.

2. Looking at the board inside the case to the top left edge where the grey heat sink is at the top of it you will see a eight or four pin 12v Atx connector make sure...

Yes, I have that installed fine. But there's also no post at all.

For power from the power supply.

1. Connect the main 24 pin Atx power block to your motherboard.

2. Looking at the board inside the case to the top left edge where the grey heat sink is at the top of it you will see a eight or four pin 12v Atx connector make sure from the Psu the eight or four pin 12v power block is connected to that connector of the board.

3. The 750 Ti version of Pci-e graphics card you have requires a six pin 12v Pci-e power connector from the Psu you have to be connected to the card.

You must make sure that all of the three power points above are connected from the PSU.

Memory.

A motherboard may not post, if you place the memory sticks in the wrong order of memory slots.
So you must consult the manual for the motherboard where it will tell you the exact places to place the memory modules

In the memory slots of the motherboard.

Cpu

There is a triangle symbol on the cpu it`s self and a triangle symbol on the cpu socket, make sure both triangles line up when seating the cpu into the cpu socket of the motherboard for the correct orientation.

Check all of the points above, with first time building the most common fault is missing a power connector because it is hidden or tucked away such as the eight or four pin 12v Atx connector like the Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P board you have, and is often missed.
The eight or four pin 12v ATX block is important because if you do not have it connected.

Then what you get Lerp, is what you are seeing when trying to power the system up.
The fans spin, and led lights light up but you do not get a post or a screen image to the monitor if not connected from the psu to the motherboard.

Look at the picture of your board bellow to see the four pin 12v ATX power block on your motherboard and it`s location.

Black in colour four or eight pin to the top right next to the silver/ gray heat sink of the motherboard 12v ATX the main picture.

Let me know if it works, if not then there are a few other things that may need looking at to get the system working ok Lerp15_2.

Ok, so, first I have a question about the GPU. I have checked all over it and nowhere see a place to put the 6 pin connector. I am pretty sure I have all the other connections down, but I will check everything that you said tommorow morning. So, are you sure there is a place to put the 6 pin?

It can be present on some brands of 750 TI versions of the card Learp.
I just made a point of checking if it was the case depending on the brand of the 750 Ti card you may have.

If it does have one it will be tucked under the fan shroud of the card or at the back edge of it Lerp.
But it needs checking as if it requires a 6 pin to the Pci-e card and it is not connected the system will not fully post.

Ok.

Check the picture link out of a 750 Ti card bellow.

@Shaun o Thanks for all the help. I was able to fix it, and now it beeps and boots to bios. I tried all your steps and that didn't work, so I unscrewed the motherboard and redid all the connections, followed your steps again, and now it is working. Thanks!
