Power supply for my pc

Audio from my PC is distorted only when playing games and also when opening heavy applications I have tried everything changing speakers buying a sound card and USB sound card none of them worked I have also used USB speakers but the problem exists Can failing PSU cause this issue I extremely dout the PSU my PSU sometimes stops working it will not boot when i turn it on. the fans rotate but i can't see any display

thts very unique...why dont u test with another psu???
no need to buy...just go to a professional shop and test...ideally thy wont cgrg u for tht unless u buy...

Hellfire13 has some good advice. The problem that you describe definitely sounds like a bad PSU could be the culprit, but test yours before you willy-nilly buy a new one.

kool...but u need to start with another psu, to remove that as a suspect...atleast get hold of a decent one just for testing purpose...

i have ordered a PSU through flipkart intex 450 watt this is the one that they given me when i purchased cpu it worked very good

to ur earlier query...if the right amount of power is not getting through for operation, then yes it can cause disruption in any form...
did u update ur onboard audio drivers after u uninstalled the card???

ok...since u said its only during games and such stuff, there cud be two likely possibilities...either ur psu is on giving u enuf juice...or that gt610 might be playng up...
so lets get the psu out of the way frst...thn we can move on to the gpu...

it's not the problem of gpu beacaus i have installed the gpu after the distortion started only the distortion noise has increased after installing gpu NOW I HAVE A STRANGE PROBLEM PC JUST RESTARTS AFTER 10-20 MIN OF GAMEPLAY I THINK THE PSU HAD GOT VERY BAD
