Do you need synapse running in background for rgb lighting to work with the razer deathadder chroma?

Planning to get a razer deathadder chroma and i was wondering if you need to have the software running in the background for the lighting modes to work? or can you just set it and close the software?

You don't need Synapse for using Deathadder. It's just good to have because you'll be able to configure it. But you can use it without Synapse if you would like to, just like any other mouse.

That may not apply to lighting but i expect you be okay without Synapse.. better off too.
