Apparently, this USB was not unplugged properly from the phone, resulting in the error "The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error". I've tried everything so far.

*The error persist on other computers
*Changing both my IDE Channel Transfer to PIO does not work
*Running both EasyUS and MiniTool Data recovery can't even detect the USB
*Running cmd chkdsk F: only results in "cannot open volume for direct access"
*Trying to format comes with the same error
* "There Is No Disk in the Drive. Please Insert a Disk into Drive "

At this point I'm pretty sure it's a lost cause, but I need a confirmation before having to give the verdict.

Hey there, Victor.

Unfortunately, I/O (input/output) errors are usually a sign for failure in most cases, especially when it comes to memory cards and flash drives. It sounds like you've already tried a lot of things and nothing has worked so far, so it doesn't look good.

You could try accessing it via Ubuntu Live USB/DVD to see if it can recognize it properly and lets you recover your files, but if that doesn't work, I'm afraid that you'd probably be out of luck. :(

Hope that helps.
