I tried to hot glue it in and i made sure it made contact but i wont post. I just dont have the know-how and the equipment to solder it in.
Also i am not sure in what direction it goes in (with the letters facing up or down)?
The server is a dual node HP SL160z G6.
Please help!

It's a crystal resonator (clock generator). It shouldn't matter which way up the letters go but it looks like the solder pads themselves have come off the board, breaking the tracks (they're still soldered firmly to the part). It's probably repairable (at least physically - there's no telling whether the board itself will still work afterwards) but it'll take some skill as you (or whoever attempts the repair) will need to remove some of the lacquer from the tracks and bridge across to the leads on the component, either with solder or very fine wire.

A super-fine soldering iron bit and a supremely steady hand will be required. If you've got any friends who have successfully modded a PlayStation or XBox (or a controller from one) in the...
if you dont have the equipment or know how of putting the part back on you A) need to buy a new motherboard or B) take it to an electronics repair shop and see if they can fix it. If you can get the make and model of the motherboard you should be able to google a picture of it to see which direction the part should go.

I did try to see pictures but it is not a common motherboard and i could find any high resolution enough. But yes an electronics repair shop sounds like a good idea but i was hoping i could do it my self for free. Still all i have to do is make sure that the metals make contract right? I am pretty sure i made that happen. I did notice a pin in one socket was kinda bent but it would have still posted with the other cpu, right?
