Hello, my name is Jonas, im looking to get into pc gaming, i have currently a laptop that can run gta at lowest settings around 50 fps, but now i want an upgrade. Idc really care if the mobo is atx or matx. Im just looking to run tripple a titles at max settings in 1080p, nothing 4k and stuff. I am on a 800$ budget and this is the parts i have chosen, what u think about it guys? and are the parts compateble?

Case: Corsair Carbide SPEC-03 Midi Tower Sort
CPU: Intel Core i5-6500 Skylake
Motherboard: MSI B150M BAZOOKA, Socket-1151
CPU cooler: Stock intel cooler
Ram: HyperX Fury DDR4 2133MHz 8GB kit
GPU: Sapphire Radeon RX 480
OS storage: Kingston SSDNow UV400 120GB OEM
2nd storage: Seagate Barracuda® 1TB
PSU: EVGA GQ 650W Hybrid Modular 80+ PSU

Im not locking to overclock or anything, a ok locking pc with the modular psu.

Solution
Then drop to a $50 case for now and buy the hard drive. But I wouldn't sacrifice the 256GB SSD. I'd cheap on the power supply before the SSD.

I would suggest not getting neither AMD or Nvidia new generations for the time being, for two reasons, first we don't know all the issues with these new generations and the manufacturers like Evga, Sapphire,...etc will likely release better versions in the future of these new cards. Second reason is that you can get the previous generation from AMD/Nvidia at a much cheaper prices than before along with the best possible editions ever released from the manufacturers.

- I choose an Asus H170 with USB C and higher end components for reliability.
- For the case I upped to a Fractal Define S which I love for interior space, quality, and price. You can always drop to a regular case and save some cash.
- Picked a 250GB SSD M.2 to get the system built. I recommend 250GB minimum. A storage drive can be added if required or just up to a 512GB SSD for now.
- 550W power supply should do the system fine. I picked a basic QUALITY drive with the EVGA G2. You can drop this a bit and save some cash if desired or find a deal on an equivalent quality from another brand such as Seasonic, Antec, XFX, etc...
- I speced an RX480 but no price.

This system will be around the $800 budget with the nice case, power supply, and better SSD. We need more info on your needs though before fine tuning to your needs and budget.

With the Define S you need an external burner. You can spend the budget on the better SSD and add storage at a later date or even an external hard drive. If you really need to chop the budget then I guess the first thing I'd look at is the case. Zalman makes some nice fully loaded cases for a good price.
