1440p@144 Hz. GTX 1080 SLI & i7 6700k. Will there be Bottleneck?

Hello everyone. This is my 1st post

I wanted to consult with experts. I'm planning on buying a new PC behemoth and I wanted to know if playing 1440p@144Hz an i7 6700k would suffer from bottlenecks when paired with a SLI GTX 1080.

You won't hit any bottlenecks but you also aren't probably going to hit 144 fps on the big AAA games. At least not with settings completely maxed.

A 980Ti manages about 90FPS on AAA titles. I would expect a single 1080 to do about the same, a pair of them is going to push it pretty close to 144hz.

You should be able to achieve around 100fps or higher with 1080 sli, depending on the graphics settings of the game, so yeah it will be a good system.

What!? A gtx 1080 will max out 1440p let alone sli. My single 1080 will get 130ish fps in bf4 with max settings and res scale @120% sli is only 4k justifiable.
