I recently went to play overwatch on my current pc and it has a hard time just running on low settings

Current pc specs

AMD A6-6400k APU
8GB ram
F2A78M-HD2

im on abit of a budget but should i upgrade both the cpu and get a dedicated graphics card or should i just get a graphics card and take advantage of dual graphics.I want to be able to play overwatch and fairly new games on high/medium settings.

Thanks.

I'd upgrade both for good measure as the older A6 may not hold up as well.

My thoughts: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA1N83Z57829 AMD X4 860K quad core ($80, no embedded GPU) or the 870k on newegg for 7 bucks more (higher clock by 200 MHz)
And http://www.evga.com/Products/Product.aspx?pn=02G-P4-3757-RX ($99 manufacturer refurbished with 1 year warranty) It's important to note, it does take a 6-pin PSU connection.

Total cost under $200 and you'll walk away with a better CPU and GPU for a better experience and more game compatibility on multi-core games. But you can stage the upgrades as needed, try the GPU first though.

Well, you CPU isn't crap, I would just go with getting a graphics card.
Depending on your budget you could get a
GTX 760
GTX 960
GTX 670

All of those are decent.
