I have a newer build on an AM3 board that I have been using for a while but now I am getting a DPC_WATCHDOGS_VIOLATION. I recently moved and I packaged everything back into it's own personal boxes and shipped them from California to Maryland. Everything works but I have since bought a new case and added a new install of windows 10.
I carried my HDD's on board with me when I flew and cradled them. So I know the HDD's are not failing and everything boots up properly but random moments I get a blue screen that displays the violation.
Since then I have done a refresh of windows, I turned off fast startup in the power options, I ran a chkdsk and I have defrag my disks, I've updated all my drivers. I've done everything I can think of but I still randomly get this violation. The only thing that they're saying that is left to do is to update BIOS but when I download the BIOS update it gives me a .F2 file that cannot be extracted to my new 32 gig USB stick.
Any thoughts or tips on what I should and should not do would be helpful. This is my 'friends use' pc but I still would like to have it run proper, this way friends and family can use it without hiccups.
