Hello, first time poster here so here goes nothing.
I recently (and by that i mean today) purchased the Sapphire amd rx 480 8gb version and was eager to put it in my computer. However upon removing my previous card and trying to put this one in, it didn't manage to fit in the pci-e slot all the way. So at first i was confused and then realized that my sata ports were blocking the card. I straight away googled the problem and they all suggested angled sata cables, the only problem is my motherboard has the sata ports sort of sticking out(?) so you can plug multiple cables into each port bit. Not a very helpful description but if you Google MSI gaming 970 motherboard you can see what i'm getting at.
So whats the solution? replace the motherboard or send back the new GPU? or can i work around this? Cheers guys.
