if i upgrade me cpu does the fps going to change alot i have the amd athlon ii x2 280 and im going to upgrade to a fx6300

Solution
Because the Athlon II x2 uses AM3 socket, and FX6300 uses AM3+, you'll need a new motherboard. And at that point, I'd recommend switching to an Intel-based processor if you want to see more improvement in fps while gaming. For example, the i5 4590. If you purchase from MicroCenter, you'll receive $30 off of your motherboard purchase to help offset the cost of a more expensive processor. That's my two cents.

Ah, yes. It was wrong for me to assume without asking what motherboard you have. Nice catch, though! You've saved yourself some money. However, I'd recommend the FX 8300 if you don't mind dropping $20-30 extra dollars. The performance increase will be worth it.
