I have an Alienware x51 which is an extremely small box with everything crammed inside. I recently upgraded my graphics card to a GTX 750 ti superclocked ( a mistake in hindsight ). Now I have realized this card is much too hot for my tiny case and I have to leave the case open with an external fan pointed on it whenever I play graphics intensive games. My question is, If I upgraded to a bigger card with a double fan (connected to a power supply rather than a PCI powered fan) will this solve my heat issue? If so, can anyone recommend an economical double fan card that would be compatible? Hoping to spend less than 150 bucks.

Agreed. Getting a bigger case is ultimately the best thing you can do.

If there is slots for more fans you can try to do that, or you can try to get fans with more CFMs. This is of course assuming case has decent heat transfer/airflow path (intake front/bottom and exhaust top/rear)
