Hi,

I recently purchased a GTX 750 Ti and my PC (HP 8200 Elite) isn't detecting it.

I have an i5 2400, 8 GB RAM, 320W PSU (which was capable of running a GTX 550 Ti).

Here are the facts:
- It is sat properly with the six-pin power connected;
- I have to plug a VGA into the on-board to get signal;
- Nothing appears in the Device Manager display section aside from the Intel HD Graphics;
- I have updated all possible drivers as well as the BIOS;
- I have disabled PCI security in the BIOS.

I'm out of ideas.

Solution

Probably, I've had a 7790 running on an old Abit LGA775 board that has a 1.0 PCIe slot and that card is a PCIe 3.0 one. Somewhere in your BIOS they may be an option to change which GPU to boot from onboard or PEGI.
