Intel core i5 3340,3.1GHz
RADEON RX 480 4GB
RAM 8GB

If i bought i5 4690,what the difference will be in fps in games between the i5 3340 and 4690????

At this point, no just keep the 3340. Maybe come next generation intel then do a full upgrade.

Even getting a new skylake cpu and motherboard would not net the gains to remotely justify the cost.

4690 non k version, the difference would be 2-6 FPS at most, if at all.
This makes the cost of the CPU not worth it, let alone the cost of the CPU, A supporting motherboard, and possibly a new windows license if Microsoft wont activate your old one with your new board.
