Mother board - MSI 970A-G43
CPU - AMD FX6300
CPU Fan - AMD fx6300 Stock Fan
While on the BIOS (currently have no OS installed) my CPU temperature was running at 55C - 64C.
I took off the fan, I smeared the thermal paste that was pre-applied on the heat sink on the CPU and got some clumps off (I know I shouldn't do this but I have no thermal paste atm) and I placed the fan a different way rotated it.
After I did this the CPU now runs at 47C - 52C. I still feel like this is hot for just the BIOS, and I can't imagine how hot it will run while installing my OS.
I also plan on leaving my case side panel open is this fine?
