I've got a Sennheiser PC 363D headset and it is a great headset but I don't think it is reaching what it can do, I've decided to buy a soundcard, what's a good soundcard to go for? I'm thinking of getting the Creative Sound Blaster Z or the ASUS Xonar DG, I will be playing CSGO most of my gaming time.

Also I sometimes get this sound glitch and it just gives me inverted sound, and then afterwards, it would disconnect and I can't hear anything, I have to unplug it from the USB port, plug it back in and make the headset my default sound device in the Windows Settings, It gets really annoying, especially when I am in the middle of a CSGO game. It sometimes would freeze my PC too. Any fixes/solutions? Is it something that has do with the Sennheiser drivers? or do I just have the wrong settings?

1 more thing, what settings should I use when I am playing? Right now it's on 2 CH for the Sennheiser program and 2 Speakers on CSGO Settings with the '3D Sound Mode' slider on the USB Sound Card off.

Thanks in advance.

*EDIT*

I'm just gonna get a new headset

I can personally vouch for the Sound Blaster Z. It sounds the same as the previous X-Fi XtremeGamer card I had.

Should work just fine in stereo mode (I use it with a 5.1 surround setup), I rarely use a headset and instead have a blue yeti for voice coms. Can't use the USB thing with your headset with it though (if you were unaware).

What is wrong with your onboard sound btw?
