Hello everyone. Recently I noticed that while playing BF4 @ Maxed Out 1080P, my CPU temps rise as high as 100 Degree Celsius with Intel Stock cooler. So I bought a Cooler Master Seidon 120V Plus AIO Cooler today.

My Specs are:

1. Intel Core i5 4690K (Stock speed. No OC)
2. RAM: G.Skill TridentX 8GB 2100MHz
3. PSU: Seasonic M2 EVO 750W
4. GPU: Sapphire R9 290 4GB OC UEFI
5. Chassis: Cooler Master CM 690III Advanced Edition.
6. Motherboard: Gigabyte Z97x SOC FORCE

6. Current Cooling:
Air Intake:
a. Front 2x Cooler Master JetFlo 120MM PWM
b. Bottom 1x Cooler Master SickleFlow 120MM PWM
Exhaust:
a. Top 2x Cooler Master SickleFlow 120MM PWM + (PSU Molex to 3 pin)
b. Radiator Exhaust:
Rear Push & Pull for Radiator Exhaust (Both fan installed in proper direction. Double checked):
Push: Cooler Master XtraFlow 120MM PWM
Pull: Cooler Master JetFlo 120MM PWM

So, I installed the Cooler. Installed Fans connection to CPU_FAN1 and CPU_FAN_OPT and the XtraFlow with CPU_FAN6 PWM connectors (All installed to Motherboard connectors properly). I then put Thermal Paste that came with the package and installed the pump after peeling off the plastic. I cleaned top of CPU properly before installing.

Before buying, I checked a lot of reviews saying their idle temp is 22-28 Degree but I'm seeing that my Idle Temp is around 37 Degree to 42 Degree Celsius (Ambient Temp is 32 Degree) and while running Prime95 Strees Test for 10 mins, it rose to 95 Degree Celsius.

Played Battlefield 4 for 1.5Hrs and temp rose to highest 65 Degree and stayed at an average of 63-64 Degree Celsius.

Can anybody tell me why my Idle temp and Stress load test temperature is very high? Is my pump working or did I do anything wrong. Any help would be really appreciated.

Thank you!
