My M3 portable 1 tb works on TV normally but when i connect it to any PC

It start reading the device information and after a while it stops and make a sound that i have removed the device although i did not.
and it despair from device management.
when i connect the HDD to any TV it work probably.

My suspicions are the same as @CountMike's! I'd recommend you try using a different USB cable with the external drive on the computer. I'd also advise you to check how the HDD is recognized in Disk Management in Windows. Once you get it detected long enough to access it properly, backup all your data and make sure you always have two copies of your files stored in different locations/storage devices.
