Hi there, i would want to upgrade my current Processor (Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q8200 @ 2.33GHz LGA775) to one that's better for Gaming.
If possible, I'd rather not have to upgrade my current moderboard(amilo-desktop-pi3645a) if possible.

Full specs if intrested:

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q8200 @ 2.33GHz <-- Upgrade needed!

Video Card NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 <-- Should be fine?

RAM 4.0 GB <-- Upgrading to 8.0 GB

Operating System Microsoft Windows 10 (build 10240), 64-bit

You really need to look at a new motherboard as well, LGA775 is ancient by today's standards and there really aren't many upgrade options for you. I can't find a CPU support list for this system, but the absolute best case scenario for you would be getting a Q9650, which is similar to your current processor, just with a substantially higher clockspeed. Your system also caps out at 4GB of RAM, with 2GB sticks being the maximum it supports, it also uses outdated DDR2 RAM.

Bottom line is you need to look at replacing your CPU, motherboard and RAM entirely to run current games. Your GTX 460 only barely meets the minimum specs for a lot of current titles but might still have a bit of life left in it if you're willing to run games at low...

It seems like upgrading this computer is a bit uneccesary then, I'd be better of just buying a new one so that i don't need to worry too much about the parts being old. Thank you for your help! :D
