I got my friend to buy parts for a gaming PC- PCMR- and built it for him. But when i tried to install Windows 7 to the drive, it says "Windows cannot be installed to Disk 3." When i click show details, it says "Windows cannot be installed to this disk. The selected disk is of the GPT partition style.

Windows cannot be installed to this disk. Windows needs the driver for device [Microsoft Storage Spaces Controller]. Click 'Load Driver' and load the required device driver.

Windows cannot be installed to this disk. This computer's hardware may not support booting to this disk. Ensure that the disk's controller is enabled in the computer's BIOS menu."

I've formatted the disk to MBR instead of GPT. NFTS. I tried installing AHCI and RAID drivers too. I can't seem to figure out how to fix this problem. Any thoughts?

Edit: His hard drive is in my PC currently.

I would use DISKPART to reset the drive.

Boot of the Windows7 install media
At the screen where you select the drive to install Windows on, press SHIFT+F10
Type DISKPART
type list disk
type sel disk x (where x is the number of the drive you want to reset)
type clean
Close the window and reboot the system

Try installing Windows7

When I do that, it resets the drive to being unformatted. Therefore it won't show up as a usable drive in Windows Explorer or in the installation window until i format it. Then it still gives me the same errors. I used the commands:
Type Diskpart
Type Select Disk 3
Type Convert
Type Basic
And then i also tried MBR but it still kept telling me it was a GPT partition and the two other errors.

No, I have my primary drive(1TB) and a secondary drive(300GB) along with my friend's drive which is also 1TB

Update: It won't install on his computer either. I get the same errors. For now i'm only trying to fix it from my PC
