Upgrade GPU on Asus P6T. I have been running GeForce GTX 285 for several years. Original attraction to it was CUDA. Adobe was incorporating technology in their editing software, Premiere Pro. I would like to upgrade the card and feel GTX 780 is the one. A GTX may overpower My older i7 4 core, 930@2.8. 12 GB ram, Got 850 watts of power and running 4HDD, 2 in Raid 0 configuration. Thoughts,on upgrade. Not interested in system upgrade at this time. I am in production now, just want faster render times.

yes, considering its a 1st gen. i7, it will bottleneck the 780 a bit...but u ll still get gud performance comparatively...that 780 is a very strong card...how much is it costing u btwn???
