Change memory frequency from bios

I have Corsair Vengeance Pro Kit 2x4 GB DDR3 1600 MHz but when i check my frequency i see 666mhz, i want to change it to 1066mhz, i wanted to know the setting in the bios i need to use because i checked online and i saw there are some hard things to set and i dont want to make a mess, my motherboard is MSI z87 G45 gaming

Are you looking in CPU-Z ?
What you see there is just half of DDR (DOUBLE Data rate), real frequency is double that, about 1333MHz. 1600MHz memory should show as 800.
If you want to change to that, look up memory multiplier in BIOS and change it a notch. Also can look in manual how to do that and/or set "XMP Profile" if both have it as option.
