Overclock my Q8200 on an Intel board?

Hi, i haev recently built a little PC for LAN Parties out of spare parts. It uses the case and motherboard from an Acer Aspire M5640. I would like to squeeze as much performance as I can out of it so i was wondering if there is a way to overclock my Core 2 Quad Q8200 on the intel board that came with the PC? Thanks.

Prebuilts normally alwasy have a locked BIOS so sadly no. To OC you need to be able to adjust the FSB and prebuilts don't allow that, sorry

Oh ok. What about third party programs that supposedly allow overclocking via Windows?

If the mobo isn't cable, software isn't going to do anything
