Hi, hopefully somebody can answer this question because I don't know what to do, so I just built my first pc and I downloaded Windows 10 on the m.2 drive. I downloaded steam on the m.2 ssd and a game and it worked just fine, however I want steam and my games on my hdd, this is when I ran into the problem, I downloaded both steam and the game in the hdd and the game wasent responding, so why is that? What am I doing wrong? Is it something to do with the program files?? I can't play my games cause they will load all through the start screen then just won't respond when it actually gets to the game.

Hey there, Nick_313.

If the HDD is working fine (has no errors and you haven't experienced any problems), then all you have to do is move your steam installation andgames from your M.2 drive over to the HDD. Check out this tutorial: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=7418-YUBN-8129.

If you had already installed steam on the M.2 drive and you wanted to do the same with the HDD while having the previous installation, I think it might have caused a conflict and thus lead to the problem at hand.

Hope that helps.
