I have an older (but still perfect for my use) HP Compaq 6005 Pro Microtower, with the following technical specs:

    Chipset: AMD 785G
    Processor: AMD Phenom II X4 B95 (3.0-GHz, 2MB L2 cache, 8MB Total cache, HT bus 3.0)
RAM: HP 4GB PC3-10600 (DDR3 1333 MHz) DIMM (It has 8 Gb installed)
Power Supply: 320 W BTX Active PFC
SSD: SAMSUNG 850 EVO 2.5" 500GB SATA III 3-D Internal

Although the computer has installed a DVD drive, I have no use for it right now, so it could be discarded. I do need some USB ports, an Ethernet (wired) port, and space for a two-HDMI video card (I only do business-type computing -- no games.)

As I really love the performance of this computer, I would like to install the exact same innards in a small, portable desktop case, so I can take it around in my travels more easily. For this, however, I need to know with precision what type of system board this computer uses, so I can shop for the proper case. Do you guys know the exact system board type of this computer? I would like to transfer the system board and SSD to this new case.

Thanks in advance for your help! :)

As I stated before it btx case and the board that is a btx mostly is propitiatory to the original case it gonna be difficult to find a small or slim form factor case that a btx and really is not worth looking that much for a oem board that a propitiatory your better of finding a board that has similar specs that an atx dorm factor than you have a whole selection for slim/small form factor case for you, now am I saying it not possible finding a case that will fit that board you have currently but that all i can really say.

Ok one issue you will need to get a btx form factor case not atx most tower computer towers are atx so it maybe hard to find a btx case that small, second you need to make sure the board does not use any kind a special power on connector now if you want to find out the model number on your motherboard their choices 1 cpuz when you download cpuz there will be a tab called main-board it tells you the model number for your board then you should be able to search up and see the dimensions specification on google.

Well, I simply want to transfer my system board and SSD to a smaller, more portable case, such as a "slimline" or "mini" case. Needless to say, I'm not a hardware expert (my thing is software), so what I need to know is which type (size?) of such slimline / mini case would be appropriate so that the HP 3047h main board would screw into it without issues.

Thanks! :)
