Hello, building a budget gaming PC for a friend. These are the components I've chosen as per the budget:

i5 4460
ASUS B85M - Gamer
MSI Gtx 960 2GB
Corsair Vengeance 1x8gb ( will add another one later)

Will be using a cooler master case and PSU (600w) from the older PC.
No plans on overclocking or adding a secondary GPU.
Will be mainly used to play games like Dota 2, Overwatch etc.
Some light photoshop work.

I want to know if the above mentioned components are compatible with each other and if I can expect decent performance out of them.
The processor and GPU are the only components that are finalized. Any suggestions towards a better mobo and ram would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

I have about the same build (12GB of RAM) and it can run pretty much everything in 1080p and 'decent' settings. And the Photoshop stuff will work out fine, maybe add a second RAM stick, but if it's light work, dont worry.

Looks good.
You probably dont need to add more RAM tough. I got 8GB and so far i have not used it all while playing games yet.
Dont mix different RAM brands/sticks. They might not work together in your motherboard. I tried that with my current PC and it did not work.
You can try it though
